Welcome!
I believe that relationships are the most important things in our lives. When partnerships get off-track, reaching out for help is a smart first step in getting to where you want to be. We live in connection with others, and I want to help you and your partner or family member feel secure, heard, and cared for by each other. With all of the struggles that come up in daily life and in partnerships, I assist people in creating a new path that includes empathy, respect, curiosity, support, fun, growth, love, and connection. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community, noticing the similarities and differences of themes that tend to arise among different couples and families.
COMMON TOPICS I HELP PEOPLE ADDRESS ARE:
Communication - Understanding Each Other’s Perspectives
Coping With Life Changes - Career Choices, IVF, Medical Diagnoses, Aging Parents, etc.
Managing Extended Family Dynamics - Shifting Old Patterns
Enhancing Emotional and Physical Intimacy - Creating More Closeness
Navigating Life With Children - From the Early Years Through Adulthood
Dealing with Infidelity - Exploring the Situation and Repairing after a Betrayal
Adjusting to Being Empty Nesters - Renegotiating the Marital Relationship
Maintaining Connection in the Later Years - Clarifying What Matters
And Many More
Long term relationships are a marathon, not a sprint, and each day people need to make conscious choices about how they want to show up for themselves and their partners. It is an honor to do this work with people, and I am thrilled when a couple comes in and tells me that through practicing what we’ve been talking about they are feeling closer and more satisfied in their relationship.
"Love doesn’t just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new."
